FACTORY MAINTENANCE
The manufacturer of your vehicle requires you to perform scheduled maintenance in order to maintain your vehicle’s warranty. We perform all of your factory maintenace schedules: your 15,000, 30,000 and 60,000 mile services.
BRAKE INSPECTIONS
You should have your brake pads checked periodically for wear to avoid more expensive repairs. When you bring your vehicle in for other maintenance work, we can check them out for you and let you know how much wear is left.
OIL CHANGE
Our oil change service includes an oil change, filter and full inspection of all maintenance items on your car or light truck. We also give you an honest evaluation of your auto’s reliability and condition!
TIRE ROTATION
Tires can take a beating on California roads. Between the heat and rough roadway material, tire tread can wear down rather quickly. Rotate tires so that they wear more evenly.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS
When your “Check Engine Light” indicator lights upon your instrument panel, it’s telling you that the vehicle has a potentially serious problem. The vehicle should be looked at to determine if there is something seriously wrong.
FULL TUNE-UPS

ABOUT US
Hangtown Affordable Auto is owned and operated by Placerville locals Jacent & Carrie Pillow. We are certified by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Additionally, Jacent has a Master ASE L1 engine performance certification and C1 service consultant certifications. He also owned a AAA-approved general auto repair shop in Colorado for seven years before moving back to the couple’s hometown.
When Jacent and Carrie aren’t helping out the community or fixing vehicles, they can be found out on the trails in their Jeeps or working on their house.
